Find out about Angela Bailey Eco Realtor on this page, and discover how my awareness of, and, interest in the environment began long before I became a real estate agent.
During my Olympic career, while on scholarship at the University of California (UCLA), in Los Angeles, I recall training on the track and realized I could not breathe.
As I looked around, I could see a blanket of smog enveloping the track and the campus. For the first time in my career I was put on an inhaler.
When I went back to California in 2000, and visited the UCLA campus it was very evident that the state had implemented a strong anti-pollution and environmental policy.
I trained and could breathe without the need for an inhaler, even though I kept one close just in case.
I have created this website to help both home owners and purchasers have access to information that will give them an opportunity to live a more green, ecologically conscious and healthy life style at home.

Olympian and Olympic Medalist
I began my real estate career, after my retirement from
Olympic competitions.
in 1988. I became a real estate professional in the winter of 1989. I sold my first property in two weeks, in the busy Tucana Condo development in Mississauga. My new career was exciting and kept me busy day and night.
During an offer presentation on behalf of my buyers, I noticed that while my buyers believed I was working on their behalf, in fact, the rules at the time were designed for the interests of the seller.
To enhance my real estate credentials, I pursued a legal education studying at Queen’s law school, in Kingston, Ontario. I became a lawyer in 2004.
Lawyer
After my legal education, I worked as a real estate consultant on various projects including a multi million dollar luxury townhouse development. Since my return to real estate in 2006, I have been helping both buyers and sellers with their real estate concerns.
Today, because of my legal knowledge, I am able to represent buyers and keep their interests at the forefront of negotiations.
The rules of real estate have changed, and agents working with buyers are now called buyers representatives, and must work in the best interest of their client making sure they do not disclose any information that could possibly compromise the deal.
The rules for a seller’s agent have not changed, but are now clearly distinct from that of a buyer’s agent. No matter which agent you work with, you must make sure that you understand the role of your agent.
As a real estate sales person with my extensive background as an Olympic medalist, and a lawyer, I will work as hard for you as I did on the track, and bring to the table the knowledge required to get the best price for you.
